Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How many people are expected to attend at the events?

We market our events on Facebook, Nextdoor, Instagram, direct mail, through city programs, word of mouth and newsletters. We do not have an exact number but work our hardest to fill up our markets.

 

Offering coupons to attendees can help along with giveaways to attract the attention of shoppers. Make sure to bring your hustle and flow at each event.

 

Network with other small businesses at the event and with customers. Growth is inevitable with building that community and connections.

Q: Do we need permits or licenses?

A city business license helps make your business legitimate. At least a DBA sole proprietorship or which ever entity preference. Having contracts with your clients/consumers along with insurance is a recommended and valuable way to protect yourself.

For food or beverages you are required to have your cottage food permit license and/or health permits to obtain your Temporary Food Facility (TFF) permit. This can be retrieved at the OC Health Department.

Reseller permits are high recommended at the businesses expense.

Q: When will layouts be sent out?

We will have maps and layouts 2 days prior to our events. We run multiple events for vendors and we appreciate your patience.

Q: When do we load in and set-up for the event?

2 hours prior to the event start time.

Q: When does the Loading out time take place?

 30 minutes-1 hour after the event is when loading out takes place. Making sure you clean up your area is very vital for our team as we are all guests.

Q: Will there be electricity or outlets?

We highly recommend if you need electricity to buy power generators on Amazon listed in our resource items. Make sure to bring your own extension cords as well.

Q: Can I get posted on your Instagram?

We usually post the first 20 vendors that pay their fee. However, we cannot post everyone. Send us a DM for a feature but again there are no guarantees that we can post your business. We will try our best to feature you me business at our next event though. We will work to at least post our vendors on our stories eventually.

Q: Why do you only accept Square or Zelle payments?

These are our ways to secure your space for our events.

Q: Why have I not heard back from the application we filled out?

We receive tons of interests from our 100s of different vendors. We do not personally ever want you to be left out. We have tons of events that we would love to have you be a part of.

Q: Are your markets suitable for Family/kids and

 Our venues are very suitable to bring the family, the kids and the pups. Full liability is with the parents or individuals that attend our markets.

Please note: At the OC Fair grounds only service animals are allowed.

Q: Do we need to wear a mask?

We can only adhere to Covid and State appointed requirements. We hope to never have to wear masks again!

Q: Do I need a vaccination to attend your events?

Personally we do not believe you need a vaccination. According to the current law we do not need vaccinations. Hoping the law stays this way.
